Hello everyone, as I mentioned on my social media, I want to use this space to connect with you all. Rather than an informative post like any other, I want it to feel like we're having a one-on-one conversation.
That said, I want to start by explaining what a Power of Attorney is. There are a couple of different types of POA.
There is:
Durable POA Healthcare POA
Financial POA
Depending on your situation you will choose the one that best fits you and your goals.
In general, a POA protects your interests, it allows you to appoint a trusted agent to make decisions in your best interest.
Having a POA can help reduce family conflict, it prevents disputes among family members about who should make decisions on your behalf.
Most importantly, a POA can give you peace of mind. A POA can help you secure your future and ensure that your affairs are handled as you wish.
A Power of Attorney is crucial if you plan to be out of the country and need someone to manage your assets while you're away.
It is important to note that a Notary Public can not draft your documents; however, we can notarize them.
You can find these forms online or contact an attorney with any further questions, I hope this information helps guide you in the best way possible.
signing off, your preferred Notary,
-Brenda.
